Leedon Green Residential Project

A Living Showcase of Sustainable Design

At Pass It On Studio, we believe in designing spaces that tell a story—not just about aesthetics, but about sustainability, innovation, and the future of materials. The Leedon Green Residence is one of our latest projects that brings this philosophy to life, transforming a modern home with furniture and surfaces made from upcycled biocomposite materials.

Crafted from coconut husk, rice husk, eggshells, and coffee grounds, these alternative materials prove that waste can be reimagined into functional, beautiful, and sustainable design solutions.

Inside the Leedon Green Residence

This 4-room apartment was redesigned for a young couple who wanted their home to reflect their commitment to sustainable living. By integrating biocomposite materials across furniture, lighting, and surfaces, we turned their home into an experimental space for eco-conscious living.

Sustainable Design in Action

  • Feature Wall & Lighting: A coconut husk bio-composite panel subtly accents the TV console, complemented by a custom-designed wall sconce made from the same material.

  • Coffee Tables from Coconut Husk: Crafted with precision to minimize material waste, these tables seamlessly blend with the organic textures of the home.

  • Eggshell Biocomposite Dining Area: The dining space is framed by beige eggshell bio-composite panels, harmonizing with the soft tones of the home. A playful, light-blue eggshell dining table adds a touch of vibrancy.

  • Multi-Functional & Efficient Design: The dining chairs double as mahjong seating, while the dining and mahjong tables transform into a compact cube—maximizing both space and sustainability.

Why Biocomposite Materials?

As part of Pass It On Studio’s mission, we are constantly exploring waste-derived materials to rethink how we design and produce everyday objects. These biocomposites are:

Eco-Friendly & Waste-Reducing – Made from food waste, reducing landfill contribution.
Durable & Functional – Strong yet lightweight, making them perfect for interiors.
Customizable & Visually Striking – Available in natural textures and colors for diverse design applications.

The Future of Sustainable Interiors

The Leedon Green Residence is more than just a home—it’s a testbed for circular design and an invitation to rethink what’s possible with waste materials. At Pass It On Studio, we believe that sustainability should be seamlessly woven into our daily lives, and this project showcases how conscious materials can shape the future of home design.
