Make Your Own Pencil Sharpener DIY Kit

Koa Koa offers you a journey inside the world of objects to make a pencil sharpener in order to discover pinion gears. Assemble the sharpener using: spacers, bolts, screws, crank…and of course pinion gears.

But that's not all - with this activity, you will familiarize yourself with recycling! You will need to collect an empty jar to craft the tank.

How it works?
Start by detaching the wooden elements and sorting out all the pieces. Assemble the pencil sharpener following the instructions illustrated in the brochure. There are several steps: assemble the pencil sharpener, then the mechanism with the crank separately and finally assemble the two together. 

Find an empty jar with a diameter of 8 cm (the most common): attach the pencil sharpener to it using the rubber bands, it will be used to collect the peelings from the pencil sharpener.
